Pay for checks. Reuse is free.

A check counts when hushrun's hosted service records its pass or fail. Skipping one that already passed costs nothing, and so does every read.

Prices in US dollars. Included checks are per month, on yearly plans too.

Scale and Enterprise are never cut off: what they include is agreed with you, in a contract.

Paid plans come with a 60-day guarantee: if the time hushrun saves you doesn't cover the bill, you get your money back. How it works

What counts as a check

hushrun's hosted service records a check when one runs and passes or fails. Those are what you pay for. When this exact code already passed, hushrun skips the check, and a skip costs nothing.

you, on your laptop
$ hushrun run lint -- eslint
hushrun: lint running: no pass yet for this exact code
hushrun: lint passed in 1s; it won't run again on this code
$ hushrun run typecheck -- tsc --noEmit
hushrun: typecheck running: no pass yet for this exact code
hushrun: typecheck passed in 0.5s; it won't run again on this code
$ hushrun run e2e -- playwright test --project site
hushrun: e2e running: no pass yet for this exact code
hushrun: e2e passed in 16s; it won't run again on this code
your agent, same code
$ hushrun run lint -- eslint
hushrun: lint skipped: this exact code passed 1 min ago (saves 1s)
$ hushrun run typecheck -- tsc --noEmit
hushrun: typecheck skipped: this exact code passed 1 min ago (saves 0.5s)
$ hushrun run e2e -- playwright test --project site
hushrun: e2e skipped: this exact code passed 1 min ago (saves 16s)
Real hushrun run output, on this site's own checks. On hushrun's hosted service, the first three runs are three recorded checks; your agent's three skips are free.

Re-running a CI run doesn't charge you twice. Each check counts once per run, however many attempts it takes, and the checks that already passed skip.

Pipelines count the same way. Each check a stage runs is one recorded check; the stages that reuse it, the builds and the deploys cost nothing.

Three recorded checks for this pipeline: staging's. Production reuses them and copies the build, for free.

At the limit, nothing breaks

On Free, recording pauses at 2,000 checks until the next month. hushrun finds no new passes, so your checks run, as they did before hushrun. Your pipeline doesn't fail, and exit codes don't change.

Team and Growth keep recording past their included checks, at $3 and $1.50 per 1,000, up to a spend cap you set. It starts at 2× the included checks: $30 of overage on Team (20,000 checks in all) and $112.50 on Growth (150,000). Past the cap, recording pauses the same way.

When Team passes 20,000 checks in a month, the dashboard suggests Growth, which costs less from about 26,700.

Owners and admins get an email at 80% and 100% of the included checks, and when recording pauses.

60 days to pay for itself

The dashboard counts each check's runs, its skips and the time the skips saved. If the time hushrun saved you in your first 60 days on a paid plan doesn't cover the bill, you get a refund. For now refunds are handled by hand: write to Camilo, who builds hushrun.

The dashboard's Checks panel for a demo repository, over the last 30 days: lint ran 71 times and was skipped 104 times, saving 1 hour 5 minutes; unit ran 71 times and was skipped 101 times, saving 3 hours 55 minutes.
The dashboard, on demo data: in 30 days, lint and unit ran 142 times between them and skipped 205 times, which saved five hours. The runs are what you pay for; the skips are free.

Questions about pricing

  • A pass or a fail that hushrun's hosted service records: a result of hushrun run, or a check event from a pipeline (hushrun run --stage, hushrun attest --check). Skips, reads and every other event are free.
